Gripset Skate Co.

Gripset Skate Co. is a Black female-owned skate company based in Tucson, Arizona. We began as an online shop, but our mission has always been about more than gear — it’s about building opportunity, inclusion, and support within the skateboarding community.

Our efforts include:

• Donating skate gear to KTR and to skaters around the world.

• Supporting local skaters by providing transportation so they could attend and compete in events.

• Covering competition entry fees for skaters who might not otherwise have had the chance to participate.

• Advocating to Tucson Parks & Recreation for the creation of a new public skatepark, giving skaters more space to ride, connect, and grow.

Gripset is proud to stand for representation, especially for women and underrepresented voices in skateboarding. We believe skateboarding should be accessible to everyone, and we’ll continue working to break down barriers — both locally and globally.
