Unity Action Park

In May 2022, Gripset Skate Co. presented the idea of a new skate park on Tucson’s east side to the Tucson City Council. The proposal was met with strong support, and Council Member Paul Cunningham agreed to oversee the future planning of what we call Unity Action Park.

The goal of Unity Action Park is to bridge the gap between Randolph Skate Park and Purple Heart Skate Park — creating more space for action sports and more opportunities for the Tucson skate community to grow.

After continued discussions and city council meetings, on February 28, 2024, Tucson City Parks & Recreation officially agreed to move forward with planning alongside us.
